Indeed. I am a new Comcast subscriber and I have noticed a dramatic decrease in the quality of service. Around 11:30 PM last night I did a speed test and had a 114 KB download rate. 30 minutes later it had dropped to 8.8 KB/sec. :-o
Ping times have also increased quite a bit.
edit: I suppose I spoke too soon. Download/upload rates have fallen again.
On another note, are you folks also noticing that it takes about 2 seconds or more between clicking on a link and it actually registering on the server end? The response time was almost instantaneous with my previous ISP, Speakeasy. |
