I was happy with 1.45.3 except for the lack of the NTP servers. So, reading this thread, I thought I might first grab the production 1.50.18 from the Linksys website & load it.
Well...
- it didn't keep ANY of my settings, filters, etc
- the router screens were very slow to display
- some of my POP3 email worked, and some didn't
- I could get to some web pages, some not
I gave up -
I went and found the 1.45.7 binary and loaded that.
Everything is now working fine,
but I still have to go back and re-define the "services" that I was blocking... Like all the Netbios stuff along with some other beacons coming from our network.
Wonder what else you are blocking as far as "services" ? |
