1 edit | reply to Buddel Well no one every seems to show me any love - lol. A recent major critic aside. There are many links to testing sites here »test.iggyz.com
I'll add to this quickly. The other set of sites mentioned below can also be found above. But hey why do I even bother. |

1 edit | reply to Buddel Well, I was gonna ask what do you wanna test your firewall for?
If it's simply a matter of unsolicited inbound probes, and you've got the time, expertise (and bandwidth), I tend to go to Zhen-Xjell's NMAP tester at ComputerCops (which doesn't seem to be included in Mem's reference). See »computercops.biz/modules.php?name=nmap for this.
If you're really gutsy and want to test outbound using various leaktesters, then gkweb's offerings may be of interest but only from the indicated sites. You can find the reference to these at »www.firewallleaktester.com/ . (These may fry your box in certain instances, so I'd be very cautious about trying them.)
And if you're concerned about browser privacy or scripting exploits, that's another set of sites. -- Regards, Joseph V. Morris |
