It was never reported on their web site. I was the first one to post about the upgrade of 1.5/128, way back, the day before it happened. I had some inside information from someone that was a tech there. I was "poo pooed" back then when I first posted it, and I can't blame people for doing that, because of all the rumors flying around on this board. As far as the 1.5/384 bump goes?...It was never reported on Verizon's site either, so don't count on this one being any different. You'll get much more information from this forum, than you could ever get from Verizon...be it rumor or otherwise. |

As far as 3/768...it's NOT happening today. Forget it. Try again mid september. |

Just got off the phone with billing. Here's the scoop: 3.0 is available, but it is not free. It is $44.95 month, or $39.95 with a qualifying (most any) package. The rep had no info on the 1.5 outer distance limit being pushed out further (to 18,000), but she put a request in for me, and it took (I am at 17,000 feet). In the past, they weren't even able to put in the request. It will be completed (or not ) by 6PM today. It has a status of "Pending".
So, place your calls (to billing), and post your results. |

I just called at 8:30 the rep. said it is aval. and put a request for upgrade for me. She quoted a price of $39.95 before any package discounts, I'll see when my next bill arrives.
She also said it should take up to 24 hours for the upgrade to take effect. |

I'm on the line with VOL now and it is available (ya-ho), but I can't get it because it is 11K and I'm at 14.4K (bo-ho) so everyone at 11K or under go get it and have fun.. |

I just called and they told me that the Remote Terminal that services me is only capable of 1.5/384.

OK you guys have been getting this wrong Its 39.95 with a package. it can take between 24-48 hrs, is the time window.
there are no changes to e-mail accounts at this time. i call about 8:45 and took 10 min (literally) for an operator to answer. They have to go and give you the price and disclaimers about performance on the phone.
There are no new package deals that I'm aware of at this point.
For those who want to know shadow line (naked dsl) is still in the works, it has not been thrown away as some have reported. |
