Adelphia Introducing Premier High-Speed Internet

quote:
Premier High-Speed Internet is a new high-speed internet service from Adelphia that offers even faster upload and download speeds than the standard High-Speed Internet service plus provides enhanced email features. Premier High-Speed Internet is designed for customers actively using bandwidth-intensive services, particularly if the internet connection is also being shared among multiple PCs.

You will enjoy the benefits of Premier High-Speed Internet if some of the following internet usage behaviors apply to you or your household:

* You frequently send emails with large file attachments that are 2 Mb or greater in size

* You upload lots of multimedia files to the Internet, including digital photos, video clips, and music

* You frequently play online games that are highly sensitive to upstream speeds and/or latency

* You live in a household with multiple people sharing the same internet connection and frequently uploading or downloading information at the same time

* You frequently use peer-to-peer file sharing applications

Premier High-Speed Internet addresses these types of internet usage with download speeds of up to 4 Mbps, and upload speeds of up to 512 Kbps. It also provides for up to 7 individual email accounts that can share a total of 70 Mb of network storage. Premier High-Speed Internet is priced at $59.95 per month for residential customers. It is also available at lower prices in our Advantage Paks; contact an Adelphia representative at 1-888-683-1000 for additional details.

I know I wouldn't want to be a customer where their founders corrupted funds and stole over $3 billion from their company; not to mention what terrible service they provide in my area hearing from other BBR users.
And yes I was wondering about this quote also
"and will be offering firewall, anti-virus and pop-up blocker applications from Zero Knowledge Systems to broadband users."
If their company knew any better they would know that this company doesn't really stop problems from happening; more like just telling you about it and doing nothing; here's the article: »Adelphia Security Suite
