Seruois lag issues still with insight?

When I lived in Rockford Illinois and had insight cable while they used the @home network it was awesome. Super fast downloads and the latency was great. Not over 50 ms to any place in the states except the bottom of Florida or California which was about 65 ms. Then @home went out of business and insight reorganised the network and became their own backbone provider. That is when living hell began for gamers on Insight networks. Ping to NYC went from 33 ms to 95 in one day and never came down. Hell the ping to insights network before i even left the city was about 60 ms. Was about 15 to 20 ms a hop on a supposed fiber network. I stuck with it for almost a year praying they would pull their heads out from their butts and get it worked out. But they never did. If you were under 400ms to their gateway they didn't care. They need to solve the speed issues if they haven't already before they decide to try bandwidth upgrades

The pings still aren't DSL quality, but I get 42ms (San Francisco) to the west coast and 45ms to the east coast (NY) so I can't really complain (about the latency anyways ).
