I cannot tell you the number of Apple users I've known over the years who just do wacky things. Like box-up and send a laptop to Apple for repair when there is some sort of error message during boot -- wait WEEKS to get it back. Or install an entirely new OS just to get some do-hicky dongle to work, find out it doesn't work well, and go buy a whole new rig.
It's like they assume since it's Apple, it has to good. We Win-drones at least KNOW our platform is crap and behave accordingly.
Same deal with this chick. Verizon REACHED INTO her magical iBook and did something to upset computing perfection. |
