Re: Inaccuracy at the NYT

Hey.. at least he went to Vietnam, and didn't waste his time at Yale blowing coke off of some hooker he found in the streets of New Haven.

Re: Inaccuracy at the NYT

Nice troll. At least make a vague attempt at staying on topic, which is the New York Times article and the retard that wrote it.

Re: Inaccuracy at the NYT

I believe the topic was about a NYT writer who thinks she lost her free internet access.

What topic were you trying to stay on?

On topic was lost with the first post & you've done nothing to help return it to topic.

Now, A word or two to try and regain an at least slightly related eval of the NYTimes' technology reporting in general. I read the NYTimes, not all of it and not daily but regularly. And it must be said, their technology section dubbed 'Cicuits' and their main personality Mr. David Pogue is a fricken embarrassment to reporting. Other departments at the Times do a good job (though the WashPost has more reporting integrity these days) and seeing as ours is a technology website community I think we should be giving Mr. Pogue and the NYTimes hell. They dumb down everything technical with a tongue-in-cheak, gee-wizzy ain't it crazy kinda language aimed at socialites & suburban, home entertainment users ... ACK! They handle the business side of tech with a little more aplomb, but the actual technology research, development and the social impacts of deployed technology is routinely glossed over and poorly presented .... In My Notso Humble Opinion.

Ok, rebuttals or refinements please.
