| reply to Mactron Re: It never changes
I found out first hand from a friend that did the same thing. I created a screen name "welfarekneegrows", and I didn't even need to bother to call them to cancel, my account was shut off, and they never charged my card again. I've had friends get TOS (Terms Of Service) violations for saying tampax in a chat room, but really the sky is the limit. If you really don't care about your aol account just drop by a public chat room and go off on the many losers that go in there to try to "hook" up on AOL. I used to frequent the Atlanta chatroom alot, and make fun of the people coming online to find love, and to hook up with girls on AOL. So like I said the sky is the limit. One of my other friends has been through 30+ accounts with aol, she always signs back up. She speaks her mind to everyone, and that offends most. -- "Our greatest glory consists not in never falling, but in rising everytime we fall." - Confucius - - - - - - - - - - - Streamfire.net- - AIM - CoNFuCiUsNiCk |

So that's how you cancel AOL !?? They don't make easy to cancel from my understanding. I think you found the key to my sisters freedom. Thanks. -- Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored. Aldous Huxley |

| AOL is a waste of time, they limit free speech, and they are kind of like the internet with training wheels. AOL is the worst provider out there if you want real Internet Provider, look no farther then a local ISP. AOL was cooler when you could get tons of pirated stuff from the private chat rooms, but if you decide you want to flame someone out or even say the word tampax in a chat room, you can have your account canceled. I hope AOL goes down in a big burning crash. -- "Our greatest glory consists not in never falling, but in rising everytime we fall." - Confucius - - - - - - - - - - - Streamfire.net- - AIM - CoNFuCiUsNiCk |
