Here is a tip:
You can dial a local access number that gives access to FWD (such as the numbers in Michigan and from www.notaduck.com). Then, enter **243 + 1 + Vonage number. You can then call Vonage numbers from various local areas. |

You can also register a new FWD account and forward it to a Vonage account. Then when people call the number they only have to enter a 6 digit number instead of 16. |

Wow! I thought they never got that going but my FWD ATA 186 was able to call Vonage  (Also ATA 186)
The Cisco never worked that well before? But Vonage and FWD are not behind NAT at the moment. That may have been the difference. I could never dial FWD to FWD on the same TA, but that also worked  -- Jim -- USA2K ... Login, go down to permanent forwarding number. Set the URI to:
sip:**243+1Vonage@fwd.pulver.com
