| Insight disconnects?
I am new to cable and I have been experiencing loads of disconnects. I have to reset the modem (Arris) and I can connect again for a little while then I get disconnected again. I am new to this stuff and not sure which way to go from here. Time frame for disconnects is minutes apart.
Any suggestions would be apprectiated.
I notice it more when I either download files or email with files.
I have a linksys ethernet card LNE100TX Fast ethernet. Looked for latest drivers but nothing yet. |

join:2004-07-29 Lafayette, IN | reply to BT_Khan One thing I did notice is my resources is being used up quite abit. 1gig amd processor with 512 ddr ram and my system shows over 70-100 percent usage most times. I am beginning to think it may be in my system but not sure. |

join:2000-11-07 Anderson, IN | reply to BT_Khan If you are using 70-100% resources, something is fishy on your system. Are you using anything like seti@home or folding@home?
I'd suggest running ad aware to check for spyware. |
