I'll admit that I'm a Democrat and want to see Bush out of office, but how does "MPAA Gets a New Chief... lawsuit possibility is open" = "Bush's fault"?
Well, duh, everything to the libreal is Bush's fault.

I also fail to see how Bush relates to any of this.

Re: BOOO

Did you read my post? That "I'm a Democrat and want to see Bush out of office" was a preface. I might not like Bush, but I don't blame him for all of our problems and certainly not for the current RIAA/DCMA situation. As far as political blame for that goes, it lands on both sides of the aisle. Both Republicans and Democrats voted for it and Clinton was the one who signed it into law. Yes, I liked Clinton as president, but he was far from perfect (obviously ) and the DCMA isn't exactly a shining moment in his career. Of course, the more immediate blame lands on the RIAA's shoulders. Bush really has little to no relevance to this situation.

Sorry, I was talking about Jsouth's theory of how this is Bush's fault, but I was using your quote. I should have explained myself more. But I was being sarcastic.

I'm neither a Dem or Rep, but I completely agree with your statement. Both parties are responsible. After a politician gets elected, from President on down, they only have one job; to get re-elected. And what they need to get re-elected ironically is not votes, but campaign money. In the past, the person with the most campaign contributions usually wins. Until this changes, you'll always see a sign on the politician saying "for sale", or in the case of Orrin Hatch, "Sold".
