BOOO

Wow way to hammer the little guy. I mean with crimes like murder, rape, Bush's bullshit campaign on terrorism.. Sorry bush but you SUCK!! ( almost a trillion spent on "deposing Saddam, and wow 1000 dead americans.. Guess he'd never know the cost of life since he skipped out of duy".. Ok back on my rant... Burglaries, and so on.. The MPAA and RIAA take the forefront of crime. What a wonderful country when the republican party bows down to the corporate giants and fucks the rest of america out of privacy laws by giving them a blank check to do as necessary... Read about where they want to tap emails and internet so the feds can easily track terrorism.. Hum.. yea i wonder whom else they'll track... Invasion of Privacy 1... Corporate Conglomerates 2... The american people, pull down your pants, whip it out, and piss on the constitution that we've known for 200 years as its dead folks.... Thanks Bush... Next time the only Bush i want in Office better have tits.

Exactly what did the story have to do with Republicans? I'll admit that I'm a Democrat and want to see Bush out of office, but how does "MPAA Gets a New Chief... lawsuit possibility is open" = "Bush's fault"? This is a problem with the DCMA which was passed in 1998 (Clinton's tenure) by both Republicans and Democrats. The blame for the DCMA (and some organizations' abuses of it) doesn't fall on one particular political party.

Because simply put, the whole campaign over the lawsuits started under Bush and the conservative Supreme Court writing a blank check to these companies... Thats how..And I tossed in a few side notes, because these companies say Americans cost them billions... But wow, so take all this money we spend fucking up the world and do something worthwhile with it... I mean if we are pissing away trillions of the taxpayers money, then why when the people piss on others does the consequence differ... Strange how when its a corporation, Bush rushes to their aid, but when the American economy SUCKS.. he still fucks you out of taxes and blows them like money grew on trees... See the link?

Well, duh, everything to the libreal is Bush's fault.

I also fail to see how Bush relates to any of this.

Did you read my post? That "I'm a Democrat and want to see Bush out of office" was a preface. I might not like Bush, but I don't blame him for all of our problems and certainly not for the current RIAA/DCMA situation. As far as political blame for that goes, it lands on both sides of the aisle. Both Republicans and Democrats voted for it and Clinton was the one who signed it into law. Yes, I liked Clinton as president, but he was far from perfect (obviously ) and the DCMA isn't exactly a shining moment in his career. Of course, the more immediate blame lands on the RIAA's shoulders. Bush really has little to no relevance to this situation.

When you learn history, come back and rant on Bush. You will see how the Democrats have done far worse.

Sorry, I was talking about Jsouth's theory of how this is Bush's fault, but I was using your quote. I should have explained myself more. But I was being sarcastic.

I'm neither a Dem or Rep, but I completely agree with your statement. Both parties are responsible. After a politician gets elected, from President on down, they only have one job; to get re-elected. And what they need to get re-elected ironically is not votes, but campaign money. In the past, the person with the most campaign contributions usually wins. Until this changes, you'll always see a sign on the politician saying "for sale", or in the case of Orrin Hatch, "Sold".

Your concerns compared to what millions of Iraqi’s had to suffer under Saddam look petty, really.

Hey, thanx for playin'

Hmmm.. so the 3000 Americans killed on 9/11 by the Al-Queda group don't count eh? Clinton's chicken shit response assured we'd get attacked again after the USS Cole. Billy went to the UK, oh, I forgot he didn't inhale during Vietnam.. Kerry went to VN for 4 mos and skipped out exercising his privilege to leave after 3 Purple Hearts. On injuries that real men would not have considered as being worthy. Then he and states in CONGRESSIONAL hearings that US Soldiers raped and burned and committed atrocities while in Vietnam. Where's his proof? Oh. I forgot he's a Liberal so we can trust his word...Your brand of extreme liberalism is so bereft of ethics and facts that you disdain anyone that doesn't see your point. Any thinking person would agree that you're full of yourself. You're so twisted that you conveniently get amnesia that Sen. Fritz Hollings engendered and drove the DMCA, He's a DEMOCRAT aka D for DISNEY. The Supremes, appointed by Billy are now in process to make us more vulnerable to attack and you're pulling a certain part of your anatomy. Get a clue, better yet buy one: Liberalism is a disease, extreme liberalism is deadly. The whole point of IRAQ is to make sure we never have to play a home game. I wouldn't piss on you if your head was on fire..

Oh yeah. Gotta love how far off the topic these threads can get. Also gotta love the rhetoric too. Clinton had no support to retaliate against that attack, especially from the GOP. Do you want to push that blame game even further? Bush was told about the threat and practically disregarded the warnings. Are you saying he's not to blame?

Also gotta love how you bashed Kerry in the same breath. Until you have been in a really hairy combat situation I don't think you have much right to say it's a cop out to try and leave after serving in a war zone. And lets not get started on what Bush did during his ... ahem... military service.

You're damn right the DMCA was brought up by Fritz. And yeah he's a democrat. So both parties play to their lobby dollars. Tell us something we don't know. It's not the political party that is the problem. It's the people in it. Both repubs and dems have some loyal and dedicated public servants in them. Both also have people who won't lift a finger until a special interest greases the wheels for them. So stop trying to over generalize and lay blame on an entire political theology because believe me. The one you're defending is nowhere near above reproach.
