| Bell afraid of VOIP for now
It's interesting to see the latest Bell commercials on TV. They feature people with their power going out and the phone ringing, then they say "Bell has always been the relable life line"
This is still true for the time being because you have no phone if the power goes out and you have VOIP.
Now, if Bell offers VOIP, they're going to have to offer the same type of reliablility which the smaller(Vonage etc) can't possibly do because they don't own the lines. |

| my power can go out (and has on a couple of occasions) and I can use my VOIP just fine. My battery backup can last a couple of hours supplying power to my TA and Router. I may also hit the Audiotron and listen to some internet radio while I'm yakking on the phone also... |
