Well, you can try and try but even the best admin can have trouble securing a wireless network.

Enable WEP and someone can still listen and grab the key (or keys). Enable MAC filtering and someone can capture the valid ones and use those. Don't enable DHCP, that can be figured out too.

If you have some stuff to risk do not use wireless networks and guard your wired one.
