Re: This is awesome

Well of course! Soon, your browser will come with more crap than your Sunday paper! Today's software is SO bloated with features that SHOULDN'T be there in the first place! Why do we have pop-ups, etc.? Why do we even need more crap added to the browsers to divert less than half of them?

We SHOULD be focusing on creating a new standard of a web language, or revamping HTML, so that pain-in-the-behind things like non-ending pop-ups, etc. would become obsolete!

Sorry, but I'm not up for browser's with mouse gestures, pop-up stoppers, etc. (since most aren't that effective anyhow). I'd rather run a simplistic browser with speed and reliability...

HAHHAAHAHAHA
you're funny
So what you're saying is that because there shouldn't be pop-ups in the first place, I should just lay back and take it? I think I'll get a browser with a pop-up blocker, thanks.
You go create a new standard of web language. I'll stop those annoying pop-ups.
If you knew ANYTHING about Firefox, you would know the whole premise is LESS is more. it comes pretty bare and allows you to add just the features you want.

Get bent.

Are You running a Mozilla build? I run Firefox, and haven't seen a pop-up in so long, I forgot that people had to "deal" with them.

Don't tell me, Internet Exploiter is the "solution", right? ROTFLMAO.

Firefox and the other Mozilla builds ROCK! Period.

I DO know something about FireFox... and that is I've installed it on my PC about a dozen times over the course of 2-3 years. EACH time, I uninstalled it after I found that it couldn't render some pages properly!

You can blame the sites HTML coding all you want; however, IE had NO problem rendering the site.

Thank you, but I'll stick to my IE.

this is why there is an extension for Firefox designed specifically to let you view the site in IE just by right-clicking
Internet Explorer has too many security holes for me.
If you actually spent some time resolving issues you would know this. So far I haven't encountered a site worth much that has a problem
understand that firefox is still in the pre-1.0 stage and that those VERY FEW bugs are being worked out now.

I ran Opera before Firefox, so its been a reeeeeally long time since I've seen a pop up.

Speaking of Mozilla, I've always wondered what the difference was between Firefox and the Mozilla builds. I've never installed the others, I was just wondering.

My only problem with Firefox is that I can't get Shockwave to place nice with XP, ME is fine, XP is not. And I'm not the only one ... »forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=42767

Yes, but this problem seems to happen only with XP and HP together, or so my experience has been. Which I really can't explain. Was just wondering.

Very interesting Google failed the "Come & Go Test" with IE and with Firefox it failed the "Mouseover PopUp" test.

Perhaps, have you tried re-installing shockwave?
Maybe, there is some odd bug/"feature" that is part of the default system image from hp?

While you're creating/redefining a new web language, make sure it's implemented properly by lazy webmasters who could care less about "standards" (the same webmasters that designed the page FireFox couldn't render.)
W3C said pages & post the outcome.

Enjoy IE (the same browser that has already been dropped by Microsoft as a standalone product,) I'll enjoy the alternative (Opera in my case,) and all the benefits/features that you are hoping will get added to SP2.

btw, Opera & Mozilla render pages faster than IE.
