Did some quick tests (cable connection):
- long URL crashed router on 3rd attempt, funny logs as in 1.45.7
- filter by url or keyword works, need to dissable SPI to have detailed logs (as in 1.45.7)
- TCP tracert works
- hidden pages same as in 1.50.18 (SysInfo, Log4Manage, ...)
- time servers same as 1.50.18
- could not confirm dbwilson's bug: Status from Administration works OK
- router pages loads OK in Mozilla, but sometimes incomplete or blank in IE (with 8 sec delay)

| I was happy with 1.45.3 except for the lack of the NTP servers. So, reading this thread, I thought I might first grab the production 1.50.18 from the Linksys website & load it.
Well...
- it didn't keep ANY of my settings, filters, etc
- the router screens were very slow to display
- some of my POP3 email worked, and some didn't
- I could get to some web pages, some not
I gave up -
I went and found the 1.45.7 binary and loaded that.
Everything is now working fine,
but I still have to go back and re-define the "services" that I was blocking... Like all the Netbios stuff along with some other beacons coming from our network.
Wonder what else you are blocking as far as "services" ? |
