[Packet8] Anybody able to connect?

I just tried to access the P8 website and I got a page cannot be displayed error. Other sites work fine. This is coinciding with me getting a busy signal from my DTA. Is their service completely down?

Down for me, had dial tone, but couldn't get a connect when dialing out. Now I have a fast busy signal!

Service down here in Philadelphia also ... as usual. Why do I keep these clowns? Now they want you to commit to a year of service with an early termination penalty. NOT!

That's exactly what happened to me. I had a dial tone but got silence when I dialed a number. I rebooted, etc. and now just a busy signal.

This is the first time it happened to me in a long while.

Just tried the P8 website and was able to long on OK, but when I try to dial out get dial tone, but then nothing. When I call my P8 number from the PSTN I get VM. Time: 10:20 AM EDT, 05/08/04

Tried rebooting my DTA and now can't even get a dial tone.

Well, now I get a fast busy when I pick up the phone.

Was working OK earlier this morning.

P.S. Rebooted DTA again and can't even get dial tone - finally a fast busy when I pick up the phone.

If you reboot, it takes a few minutes before you hear anything. This is because the SIP server is down and the DTA waits for the connection to time out. When it times out, that's when you get a busy signal. Until then all you hear is silence while it's trying to connect.

Oh well... I've got to go do some work. Maybe it'll be up when I get back in. I still have my cell phone.

Well, apparently things didn't go too well.

Got a voicemail asking me to stop leaving voicemail on their customer support number. Guess my calling every 5 minutes telling them that my service is down and I am only calling to remind them that I am leaving enough messages so that I recoup my $75 disconnect fee in service calls..
