Directvio and Broadvoice are curently incompatable. I also have a directvio also with Broadvoice. They are working on a solution for data and faxing. It should be working in amonth or two. They will be using a new voip protical T.38 which alows modems to work properly with voip. It adds error corection to the data stream. The problem with voip and data calls is packet loss and the inabilty for the modem to resend the lost packets. T.38 is a great invation that will make me very happen once it is in place since my Directv boxes, fax and alarm system will work flawlesly with voip. |

| Not sure if it will work for Tivo, but some people have reported that putting a DSL filter (pigtail first) where a fax machine phone line cord would go, and then plugging the phone line into that has worked for them. See this thread: »[Vonage] Can finally fax with Vonage!!
You can try doing the same by plugging the DSL filter into the Tivo. It doesn't matter how you get your broadband (you don't need to get it via DSL) |
