| Uninstall Propel accelerator before installing.. Should I uninstall Propel accelerator before downloading the MaxSpeed accelerator offered by PeoplePC?
Currently I am using Propel accelerator. My ISP, PeoplePC, recently began offering an accelerator which they call MaxSpeed. I want to change to MaxSpeed. It will cost less ($2.00 vs. $5.99 per month) and has a few more, really nice features.
The demo looks just like Propel, so I suspect PeoplePC is contracting from Propel. Tech support at PeoplePC would not tell me if their supplier is Propel.
However, he did point me to a FAQ under MaxSpeed Help and Info regarding “how to re-install MaxSpeed,” but this question was not in the list I found. I have asked him for clarification re whether I should uninstall Propel accelerator before downloading the MaxSpeed accelerator offered by PeoplePC.
I also would appreciate the opinion of others. If you are know anything about this area, please give me your advice, uninstall or not?

"Regarding your concern, we would suggest you to uninstall the Max Speed Accelerator software from ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS ..." I think they meant uninstall Propel (not MaxSpeed!!) before I add MaxSpeed. |

Yes, PeoplePC uses Propel... read their online agreement form. Sometimes it takes the fine print to find out the truth.
