jmagicfinger : Hi,

I have setup exactly as shown on that page. I'm using dns, but tried the ip in it's place, which made no difference. I have fwd (line one) on 5061 and nikotel (line2) on 5065 (tried a few different ones in case that was the problem).

I have a firewall router (netgear FM114P), and have tried enabling/disabling port forwarding, but it makes no difference. Currently I have no port forwarding set, and it works just fine with fwd.

My next option is to set the sipura as the dmz and see if that works, but I'm not sure what changes need to be made to the setup.

Thanks for any help you can offer,

J.

jmagicfinger : Yup, that's exactly the setup that I have, but still it fails to register. I really don't know what to do. I'm using a mac so the windows software won't work for me, forgot to mention that. I thought that the sipura might have a diagnostic page that would tell you what was going on, the softphones have that.

Cheers,

J.

jmagicfinger : I have an spa-2000 which I have configured for fwd and nikotel. The fwd is working fine, but the nikotel just wont register. I've tried everything I and their tech support can think of, and now I want to try and see what the sipura is actually doing, and try to see where the problem lies.

Is there a way to see the messages that the spa-2000 is sending/receiving to see why it won't register. I'm at a loss on what to do next.

Does anyone know how I go about doing this.

Thanks,

J.
