If so, uninstall it and then reboot.  <br><br>A lot of times, printers have their own installs (Example: Ink monitor that runs in task bar)  These should <U>always</U> be uninstalled if the printer is getting permanently disconnected.<br><SMALL>--<br>"Back off man, I'm a scientist."</SMALL>]]></description>

If so, I'd recommend changing your "default" printer to your new printer, then try deleting the old printer.
