Yes, the mobo is a POS, and yes the person who "owns" it doesn;t want to spend any amt. of $$$ fixing it. The Dell laptop that I am using doesn&#146;t have PS2 or serial ports, but its bios makes the mouse look like a PS2 to DOS mouse drivers. Your computer should have a PS2 port and most USB mouse devices have a USB to PS2 adapter. The adapter installs fine, but it recognizes the mouse as an unknow usb device. I have tried DL'ing the Microsoft fix for it to no avail. I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it, several times, and it still says code 10 "unknow usb device".
