Thankfully the stability has improved a lot since the "upgrade" of our systems earlier this week. It was really touch and go between the 4-day outage 2 weeks ago and Monday this week.

The good thing is, I've not been completely DOWN except for when the upgrade was done since the outage. And, I have to say, tech support has always gotten done what I needed done when I've called.

BTW, I will say again, if you don't have a SB5100, and your area can support it, GET IT. Heya Mac, I don't know, my download is always in the 2200 range...never reach the caps. I run linux and am behind a BEFSR41 router. When I ran windows, I had it tweaked, yet I still never get much higher than 2200 kbps... I'm just guessing that my node is saturated :)

When speed caps migrate for everybody in general, new config files will be used. They won't be the same files everybody has now, maybe not even if they just got the 4000/512 Premiere tier.

This is pure educated speculation on my part. The new provisioning system does some interesting new things which which weren't really possible before and I still getting a handle on it all.
