Re: Post progress on msn dsl 1000 here! Well, I finally got to see the Internet Gateway. It showed up when I upgraded the firmware. But, it disappeared. I got it again when I installed uPNP from the WinXP disc.
Is Internet Gateway supposed to be DISCONNECTED? When I tell it to connect, it says "connected" but really seems to stay disconnected on the Network Connections screen.
I cannot run any type of program to force the maps. They all tell me "connection forcefully rejected." Can anyone help? The modem works great, for normal use.
Also, is there any way to use an Intel Pro 2100 with QWest/MSN? Maybe I'll just swap to Earthlink and get a different modem, ... hopefully.
The adding of ports on the Internet Gateway does not work for me. I show no improvement on any program that seems to want to use them.
Thanks for any help!! Please, help! I spend about 6 hours yesterday messing with this. I always figured the problems I had connecting through specific ports were on the other side of the line.. hahaha. |
