ThirdShifterPremium join:2002-03-16 Vernon Rockville, CT kudos:1 | Malaysian Broadband Forum Request I've been thinking about Requesting this for a long time and how appropriate it would be. Even though We Un-officially already hijacked the International Forum to be the Malaysian Forum i think it would be a great Idea for Us to have a Tiny spot here. Reason? First because of the Language barrier and it Makes it A little embarassing for Some of them to Ask questions in their own respective language.
You could hop to the International Forum and see How many Of them are Actively helping each other out.I'm pretty Sure That people from other county that sometimes post their Question oftenly fade out really Quick without getting any Feed-back, although we try to help them be redirecting them to a closer region or try to answer or give them some help.
Although i hate to compare this suggestion to other Forums but i lurked around to several Forum that is out of the North america region, it seemed that the international Forum that we hijacked is twice as Busy and active than these forum.
The other reason i Request that we could hopefully get a Malaysian Forum is of course it would encourage more lurkers that come here but never post (because of the language barrier again). I'm pretty sure It would in a way give us some sense of pride to be recognized in this great site.
And to all of you voter please.. I hope you guys Help us out by signing this petition. -- Hope is a good thing, Maybe the best of things |

I've browsed the forum before, and it's nothin' but Malaysians. This request sounds reasonable. |

I think we have grown here at dslreports. i've only been here for a month and i have seen how the Malaysian users have grown and continue to grow. i agree that there are those who are too shy to post questions because of the language barrier. i really do hope that you will consider our request
Cheers!!! -- ==In loving memory of Ruffles, we will always remember you== |

I would say that there are currently far more posts being carried out regarding Malaysian BB than the UK and Australia BB forums combined, with numbers like that a forum in my eyes is justified.
This is what dslr/bbr needs to grow on, international members and to do this we need to expand the forums of the site when required.

i'm signing this in hope that the streamyx forum will grow big, maybe so big that tmnet will recognise it as official streamyx troubleshooters. |

it's better to ask for help here than asking or rather waiting on the customer support line. |

International Forum has turned into a Streamyx helpdesk, you know tmnet should donate some money here.
As I said before, Tmnet/ Streamyx is notoriously famous now. And It all started here.
A seperate forum for Malaysian please, thank you.
I don't believe there are stupid questions, only stupid motives; I don't believe you are wrong, I just think you have not thought it through. |

This Internation Forum is mostly dominated by Malaysians, particularly Streamyx users. Hence, a special category for Malaysians is necessary. |
