There's no for RASPPPoE if you have Linsys router on your hand. Check your manual on how to access the configuration page on the router and setup PPPoE on the router. MTU also needs to be set to 1400 on the router. If you check in the advance tab of the configuration >> Filters, there you'll find the option where you can enter the appropriate MTU value for the service. Also make sure you set your NICs to "obtain IP address automatically" or to the same subnet as the router in order for the network to work properly. Once you configure the router correctly, your network will be provided with immediate access to the net since the router is handling the connection (so you can browse online without the client). And since there's a connection provided from the router, you'll have to configure your AOL client to connect via TCP/IP Lan option (the new versions are obviously worded differently) in case if you ever want to connect to AOL.
--
•·.·´¯`·.·•Meteor Dive•·.·´¯`·.·•

That's it.

Hey Hollywoood, if you really want to start playing now connect your PS2 or Xbox directly with the modem and input the data that you used on the PPPoE (username, password, e.t.c.) and you should be able to connect just fine ;)
Hey
[text was edited by author 2003-03-23 17:34:19]
