Re: [Connection] Grand Rapids, MI - 50% packet loss on 2/16

said by Nightfall:
Was just wondering if anyone else in Grand Rapids MI got hit eariler with intermediate packet loss. I was pinging through at about a 50% rate. Resetting my router fixed the problem.

I am trying to determine if this is a router problem or a Comcast ATTBI issue. Since it hit me at about 8:45-9:00pm tonight, there are others that would be affected if it was a Grand Rapids issue. Anyone?

I didn't notice any packet loss that night. I have had packet loss like that in the past though, but its usually fixed up within the next hour or so.

I am starting to determine that it is my router or my actual cable modem. I have no idea to be honest with you. Still trying to nail down the possibilities. I thought if others had the same problem at the same time as I did, then it could be the service. When no one else is experiencing these issues, it has to be either my router or cable modem.
