:) Nope not rich. Dsdn fiber is a new technology being installed in Denver. It is fiber optic to the curb and then Cat5e to the house. It connects straight to my ethernet card @ 100Mbps full duplex. No modem is required. It costs me $45 per month. So lucky, not rich. :)

I figure there are a few more dwellings than that. What you have is a connection @ 100Mpbs which is shared. I'm on dsdn fiber and have a similar connection and speed. Late one night I was able to get the result shown attached, but I probably was the only one up and using my node. The rest of the time I get results like you had at the beginning of the thread.

LOL! i downloaded from same server with my 3500k Satellite and i only had 25kb/s! thats slow, normaly i get round 250kb/s. When i tried a file from www.download.com i had fast speed tho. :)
