| Power Preparedness Plans My boss told us all to work from home today, which was nice of him. At the moment in the Boston area this is nothing more than a windy day with some light rain.
I presume it will get worse, in the case, I implement my PP-Plans...
Plan A: Combination of UPS, marine battery + inverter
Plan B: Backup generator
Plan C: Idling car to power 12V chargers for cell phone, laptop and flashlights
In the event of both cable modem and cell network failure, it's Plan E--
Plan E: Run hose from exhaust of car into window... hope that strong winds against exterior of car do not prolong the process  |
