Re: LTE connectivity The approach I've taken is to have the tablet on one carrier (VZW) and the phone on another (Sprint). If one network is significantly better than the other in an area, I can tether one to the other (I don't have tethering enabled on my Sprint account for the whole month).
As for whether LTE has been worth $129 extra upfront for my third-gen iPad, I'll go with a provisional "yes" since VZW LTE has allowed me to do work where I normally wouldn't be able to, and the ability to scale my monthly fee with data usage (with no contract) requirement has been a plus. |
