LTE connectivity

I have gone back and forth about have CDMA/LTE connectivity on a tablet device, from what I've heard people like having the ability without having to tether their phone. I just don't know if I can really justify the increased cost of the tablet as well as the $10 extra a month on Verizon's plan.

If one network is significantly better than the other in an area, I can tether one to the other (I don't have tethering enabled on my Sprint account for the whole month). As for whether LTE has been worth $129 extra upfront for my third-gen iPad, I'll go with a provisional "yes" since VZW LTE has allowed me to do work where I normally wouldn't be able to, and the ability to scale my monthly fee with data usage (with no contract) requirement has been a plus.
