Re: What you all seem to forget

I tried an Android phone for 2 months; worst phone I ever owned. Force close apps, constant lag, major lag on the keyboard when texting, random reboots, huge random battery drains, and the phone would often freeze solid as I was answering a phone call. Maybe jelly bean is better, but gingerbread was just awful.

I sold it and got an iPhone 4 which has been flawless in the 18 months I've owned it. The apps look and work better on iOS and there are more available. Plus you don't have to root it, hack it, or mess around with it to get it do certain things. I realize the iPhone does less, but it does everything I need and it does it 100% of the time. There were days that it took a lot of will power not to smash my Android with a hammer; I almost did a few times.

My iPhone has never even gotten me slightly upset in any way. I feel like a got a great value out of it. Sure, it was double the price of my Android, but it's kept my blood pressure down, and you can't put a price on that.

Bottom line, if constantly screwing with the operating system and tweaking is your thing, great, get an Android. Different people have different preferences and there's nothing wrong with that. But don't talk down on people like me who just want the phone to work without having to mess with it. I have better things to do with my time and don't need any added stress in my life.
