It doesn't.

But most people don't really understand what "cloud" means so if it's handy and slick, they figure that must be right.

@ryan711 calls it Cloud for this article, but the product's websites don't mention cloud, only NAS.

Ryan, why do you consider these products to be able to create a cloud at home?
