They probably do these days in order to save face, since people will still blame them even if a bricking error is due to the phone being jailbroken. |

The biggest issue we ran into were IMEI numbers that were being erased with that updated, and we had customers swear up and down that they didn't modify their phone even though the talking point we had to stick to was that the phone has been modified, warranty is now void and you're only option is to buy a brand new iPhone as we wouldn't even do a discounted $250 repair. It was a messy situation, and the guys in Cupertino really threw all of us in Niagara Falls, Sacramento and Austin under the bus over it. |
