By repeatedly redefining "broadband service" speeds, there will always be rural "victims" who are underserved, regardless of the fact they're unwilling to pay for the service level desired. Who is unwilling? I don't know anyone in rural areas unwilling to buy faster internet. It simply doesn't exist. |

 | Completely agree. I live 35 miles from the nearest town.. I'd gladly pay more for something better than my 384k dsl but my phone company is in NO hurry to upgrade. Exede says they won't even install, and that's the exede 5, not 12, and I called hughesnet about gen 4 and they said its unavailable to preorder in my area as well. Forget cell coverage, its spotty at best. You are correct, simply doesn't exist. |
