I'm not a shill, but people tend to forget what a luxury is and a necessity.

Cable TV is a necessity for those of us who live in areas with no OTA signals.

I don't really consider TV a luxury, it comes in handy for watching the local news and the few decent programs that are left nowadays.

HBO and premium content channels are luxuries. I do not consider basic cable to be a luxury.
