| Not sure how you jumped to that conclusion considering the iPad 3 has a 10" 2048x1536 display for $400. That's like saying a 40" 720p TV is a 50" 1080p TV killer.
The iPad mini will probably be priced around $299 anyway.

People love to dish that "iPad & iPhone killer" smack almost as often as they compare someone to Hitler and something to Nazi Germany. Been hearing it for years, and last time I checked, Apple was still doing something slightly North of what I would call a "brisk" business.

Apple has become content and full of it, acting like they invented the cell phone and the tablet, acting like people will always buy them, while doing nothing but making small improvements in a fast changing market. Apple has become way too arrogant and doesn't even notice things like the Galaxy S3, which is a far better phone then the iphone. |

You should know that is impossible. Quit expecting everything for free or nearly free. $50 a year for unlimited internet? Do you HONESTLY think at&t crappy network could handle millions of kindles using their network with unlimited? |

considering cable ISP don't even offer unlimited internet. I think not. at&t and Verizon aren't spending money on upgrades? How are they offering 4G then? Also it's not just about money they also need the bandwidth. Maybe in 10-12 years when technology improved, the spectrum auction has happened and 2G and 3G frequencies have been repurposed for 4G. |

Meanwhile every year their profits get bigger and bigger.
It's not what you make, it's what you keep and Apple is keeping quite a bit, owning in terms of profit share.
We'll see how the iPhone 5 sells in a couple of weeks before writing the obit on Apple's mobile business. |
