| Good thing I have Verizon They have had LTE in the areas I live and travel. They have had LTE in Springfield MA for over a year, and they just turned on LTE at my Grandma's house in Maine earlier this year. They also have it in my hometown of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Maine has pretty good LTE coverage (about 2-3 bars at my Grandma's house in Biddeford). The Maine Mall in South Portland has spotty LTE coverage (and only because of a repeater in the Verizon Store there). According to some employees of the store, South Portland is not quite online yet with LTE because it has to do with issues with the leases on the two towers in South Portland.
It will be another few years before AT&T has LTE in more rural areas lime Iowa and Maine. AT&T seems to be slower with network upgrades than Verizon.
-- I wish I still lived in Iowa; Everything there from rent and groceries to Cable TV is much cheaper in Iowa (especially with an overbuilder in town). |

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I might actually switch to T-Mobile until we get some kind of LTE buildout around here.
Verizon's had it for several months now in Philadelphia & Suburbs. |

Verizon's had it for several months now in Philadelphia & Suburbs. Edit : Non-capped LTE, or at least a reasonable cap. 2GB is bullshit, and I won't play those games. |

Not sure where you get 2 GB from. Under Verizon's new plans your cap can be anywhere from 1 GB to 20 GB. Even under old pricing the caps was 2 GB, 5 GB or 10 GB. 2GB is just what most people CHOOSE to get. |
