Re: Its a big BS ploy Why do you assume that if the data came from a developer's server that it somehow negates the possibility of the FBI having it? Isn't it plausible that the FBI would contact sources of information and attempt to purchase it? If they didn't try to gather info this way I would accuse them of being stupid.
You also figure that the FBI would be in possession of ALL UDID's if they had any at all? And I would fully expect a developer's database export intended to be sold to the FBI to be in a CSV file.
I too would like to know what app this data was tied to so the developer can be properly ostracized for selling this data to the FBI. Hopefully ALL the data is released to act as a wakeup call to the sheeple... if you give your information to a company, THEY ARE GOING TO RESELL IT! Don't be surprised when it surfaces where you least expect it. |
