| I have an easy solution for consumers The easy solution, stop buying cell phones. That way the manufacturers of the cell phones and the cell phone providers can feel real market impact.
My suggestion to those who feel this to be a bad thing, pull a Syd Barrett. Disconnect, get off the grid, and hide. Samsung and Apple will both have a hard time with 3G chipsets if no one buys a cellphone or cellphone service.

I have a 7 year old cell phone - no smart phone, no data plan BS, no iAnything, no LTE, 4G, 3G, xxG(PDQ, XBE etc...bullsit). My wife has a phone that texts - I refuse for anyone in my household to have a smart phone - I am not going to play the games.
And I am very happy not having this crap. I can only hope that more people see that Apple is JUST like MS and all of the other companies involved in the same BS.
Wonder who ones the 'patent' on the double click of the mouse....????
