Apple has been trying to go this way with IOS and OSX, but isn't there yet. But, if v8 is a flop then they've got a real turd sandwich to eat. OS X looks and functions nothing like iOS. They brought some iOS features to OSX but there is not the merging of the 2 like Microsoft is trying to do. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think Win 8 will be another MS BOB for them. It's a very hard and user unfriendly OS and people will be turned off by the whole dekstop vs Metro (oops, not Metro) apps.
I think MS better get the salt and pepper as the turd sandwich will need lots of it! |
