You obviously have no idea how wage garnishments work. He can only ever be garnished a certain percentage of (future) wages until it's paid off - somewhere around 25-30% I believe. All is not totally hopeless in his case, though darned near.

If your income is low enough you are judgment proof. I would almost assume in this case the there will be zero actual payments.
