Re: Apple vs Samsung patent battle jury reaches decision In reality Google is in an excellent position. At WORST Google can start charging for licenses and could do it any day they wanted. Android is a proven platform with gazillions of loyal users and handset makers committed.
And where are handset makers going to go? They going to start all over and write their own harrrrrrr-e-ble OSes? No way. They would would eat it with a smile on their faces thankful for the billions they make in profit on the back of Google developers.
And maybe Google could take the dough and really accelerate R&D in the mobile handset space to come up with something really spectacular that will be totally obvious AFTER they do it. |
