When it works. AT&T's network tops out at 5M down, 1M up on my iPhone 4, without HSPA+/4G capability. That's better than DSL, and compares to local fiber speeds. With everything capped at 5GB as a data plan, why are carriers building out LTE anyways? I see why VZ is, they have to to compete with HSPA+. But this buildout defeats the purpose if it's so expensive to buy that it requires a second mortgage on a house to pay carriers for.
