Since Verizon is so willing to part with these A&B block licences, it must be confident the sale won't hurt its competitive position. This spectrum should be unattractive to AT&T as it's saddled with a short (1yr) buildout string attached. I see big T's involvement as a play to make it more expensive for the smaller competitors.
