Yup it's usually the q tips (older people I think you get it) usually are fighting it left and right. The Cape Cod wind farm they have been trying to build is another example of q tips fighting the town.
I could care less about "property values" if a carrier came knocking at my door and asked if they could put up a tower and rent my land I would say hell yes and keep your money. |

I don't understand this. If you own a house that's worth X and commercial construction makes it worth 25% less, you're OK with it? What if the new value means you owe more than it's worth? If you sell it, you still owe money and have no down payment for a new house.
Forget about your house, you would be OK with a decision that cost your neighbors too? No empathy? No scruples? To hell with the them? |

Not to sound so cynical but when I drive around or walk through neighborhoods in my city and surrounding one's and all you get is nasty stares from people wondering what you are doing there instead of a wave, even if I wave still people either ignore you or they put there heads down and keep walking. I never have seen a neighbor helping another one anywhere.
Maybe it is just around me but everyone is a bunch of haters. I know there are other places in our country that aren't like my area but until I move, I only care about my wife and family. If that sounds cynical then so be it. |
