[Anime] Fall 2012

Thanks Macky!

»minus.com/l9VnqrnACrdCE

Fall is looking pretty sweet. I've got Five shows I've pegged to watch.

Hayate The Combat Butler: Can't Take My Eyes Off You
More Hayate whats more to be said?

Psycho Pass
Not much is known the PV was a 30 second shot of a gun but its airing in the noitaminA time slot and noitaminA always has a strong offering.

Robitics;Notes
2019, Divergence Ratio 1.048596. The near future, where a device popularly called the PokeCom, packaged with PhoneDroid OS, spreads, bringing the Augmented Reality world close to existence. Chuuoutanegashima High School's Robot Research Club is in danger of losing its club status. Kaito Yashio, one of only two members, is only obsessed with robot fighting games, showing no interest in the Robo Club even in this situation. The reckless, useless club head, Akiho Senomiya, aims to complete a giant robot, struggling hard to avoid losing the club's status. Then, one day, Kaito discovers the A.R. annotation that becomes the Kimishima Report. Written in that report is the indictment of someone named Kou Kimishima's conspiracy involving the world.

Just seems interesting.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun

Mizutani Shizuku is the type of person who only cares for her own grades. But when she accidentally delivers lesson notes to Yoshida Haru, he becomes convinced they are friends. Haru turns out to have a very innocent personality, but who would've thought that Haru would actually confess to Shizuku? A cold-hearted girl and super-troublemaker romance with a fresh new perspective.

From the synopsis I automatically though of Kare Kano I'm looking forward to it not as a way to see if hte show will be like it but how a spin will be put on the subject matter.

Zetsuen no Tempest
The story revolves around Mahiro Fuwa, a teenager whose family was mysteriously murdered one year before and his friend Yoshino Takigawa. Mahiro is contacted by Hakase Kusaribe, the leader of the Kusaribe clan who was left stranded on an unknown desert island by her followers, and agrees to help Hakase in exchange of her help to find out the culprit for the death of his family. Upon learining of his friend's intentions, Yoshino joins him on his quest to stand against the Kusaribe clan who intends to awake the "Tree of Zetsuen" whose power can bring ruin to the entire world.

Several dialogues and plot elements in Zetsuen no Tempest pay homage to the works of William Shakespeare.

C'Mon William Shakespeare what more do you need?

Maybe I'm just getting burnt out on anime...... I'm not seeing a whole lot that interests me, like this season. Of course, I could be surprised, but.....

Yamato 2199 #3 is out in October! That's something to look forward to!

Ep 11 of Kore wa zombie desuka is a must see for me, I love that series.

For me the Fall 2012 while not as strong as Spring 2012 has some that I will watch and some that I may watch, at least more than Summer of 2012 which I am largely disappointed with.

I will Continue Space Brothers as it is an awesome series! Jormungand starts back up for season 2, I enjoyed season 1 so I see no reason season 2 wont pick right up where it left off.

As far as what I may watch, I will give Little Busters! a try. The title scares me but I don't know if its just a crappy transaction issue. I also think that Savanna Game maybe fun, I guess it will depend on the story as the theme sounds a bit re-hashed. I am also thinking about Heavy Object but I am concerned that it might be too fan servicy, I will need to see more of it to be certain of its fate. I might watch Robotics;Notes because I guess it's from the same group that did Stiens;Gate, and S;G was to be some awesome series. The issue is I never finished S;G, the story just wasn’t holding my attention, so I don’t know.

Well... I dont think as of now I am watching anything I quoted earlier. Below is my Cruchyroll queue, and as of now the only show I'm getting from an outside source is Jormungand.

Gintama - I enjoy the senseless humor and the show seems to have heart. I will on occasion get misty eyed so it has to be doing something right.
Chitose Get You! - This is a stupid show, I dont know why I watch it. Its only 3 minutes so at worst is only wasting 3 minutes of my life at once.
BTOOOM! - I don't know how I feel about this series. It's kinda of original, I am watching it, we shall see how it pans out.
Medaka Box - I have not watched one episode of this yet, but there is a second part to the series, so I dont know, I might give it a try.
Sword Art Online - The abrupt ending to the last arch leaves a sour taste in my mouth, we shall see what the next story holds.
Space Brothers - I love this series, it is so honest.
My Little Monster - I am enjoying this series as well, I dont know what is wrong with me falling for these damn Shojo esk series.
The Pet Girl of Sakurasou - It features for all intents and purposes a male cat lady, it is strange. I'm sure it will be full of a ton of Japanese love tension. We shall see.

I was planning to do the "fall 2012 currently watching" thread last week, but I didn't have time to do it. Everytime I started typing, something interrupted me.

I've seen a few really good shows thus far, and am pleasantly surprised.

Tough one to say for sure, as there are a few that have started really good.

The Pet Girl of Sakurasou I think had an awesome first episode, I liked it overall. Tell me the anime-making girl isn't Minorin from Toradora! =) Blast of Tempest also started well, and 2 episodes in I'm enjoying it. Tops though I think go to My Little Monster, or Sukitte Ii na yo (Say I love you). They both have enough comedy going for them to keep them from being too serious on themselves, and thus being overly "mushy", which is why I like them.
