There are also some rumors that TWC is talking with Level3 about improving their transit capacity. I don't know what they have up their sleeve, but I'm betting they'll either raise speeds and bundle people at prices below what Google has to offer, or they're going to be offering standalone 100mbps cable for under the $70/mo from Google. 100/10 for $50/month without a contract would do quite a bit of damage to Google's 1Gbps offer. |
