Re: 40% of Vice Presidents?

Dang. Sounds like a great gig, if you could get it.

At least I was a part of history, although the true history is hard to find now, it's been sanitized and re-written. The company I worked for GAVE the CHINESE the ability to drop a missile on a dime, anywhere in the world.

The Chinese had great missiles... but couldn't hit anything with them. Most went straight up and came straight back down lol. They just couldn't develop the guidance systems. Under orders of then President Billy Bob Clinton... Against the say of the State Dept., The Pentagon, The CIA, our company sent a team over with not only the guidance systems, but the machines needed to make them (for a small donation of $85 million to the DNC from a company owned by the Chinese Army). After setting up the machines for a "demo", some nice Chinese soldiers, heavily armed, came into the room and said "You can leave now". When the techs moved to the machines to pack them up, rounds were chambered and the soldiers said again "you can leave NOW". The machines, boards, documentation, everything were left there.

A small article appeared in the N.Y. Times, inside seam, way in the back, while the headlines SCREAMED about the stain on Monica's dress. Sadly, that article made the DNC return the $85 million, but the topic was never written about or discussed again. In the "official" history the company was found to be a rogue company that defied export bans and went belly up. They had spent decades making billions...not a bad trade. No one went to prison or was even criminally charged. The country talked about stains and lived happily ever after. The only sad part, is my friends that were on that trip... all died young. Unexplained accidents and suicides.

It really wasn't a good company to work for...

Wow. Quite the story. I can only imagine what goes on in those types of situations.

It's not an industry I'd recommend to anyone. It's funny... All these years later, I remember my friends. I Googled around trying to see what remains of the story. History was completely re-written.
